Community involvement: Morgan Moving & Storage cares!

At Morgan Moving & Storage, we know what it’s like to just be starting out in business – and all of the accompanying challenges. That’s why we support community organizations that make a difference for people and businesses in our part of Mississippi, such as The Alliance, the Chamber Advantage Affinity Program and the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce.

Our story

In 1962, Bill Morgan bought a moving van and started doing small moving jobs on the weekends, while working another job during the week. His wife, Joyce, managed the moving office while also managing the local Sears department store.

Three years later, Bill had a small warehouse in Boonesville, Mississippi. In 1974 he purchased his first fleet of trucks – and, in 1980, he relocated his business to Highway 45, where it exists today, and Joyce became a fulltime office manager for Morgan Moving & Storage.

By 1985, Bill owned his own van line and he was moving people to all 48 mainland states. Today, Steve and Bronzie Morgan manage the Mississippi business.
